서울-파리-암스테르담을 기반으로 활동하는 콜렉티브 FLAG의 첫 번째 전시 <a slope, a drop, a poke>가 열립니다. FLAG는 예술적 실천을 둘러싼 프로덕션의 역학을 조사하는 프로젝트로, ‘컨텍스트의 특이성’과 연결해 비환원적인 탐색을 실험합니다. 하나의 콜렉티브로서, FLAG는 디지털과 아날로그가 플랫폼을 통해 연결되어 동시적인 내러티브를 형성하는 시각적이고 물리적인 일상 경험의 전반을 작업으로 다룹니다.
전시 <a slope, a drop, a poke>는 "큐"라는 사물을 둘러싼 팀원 각자와 공통된 연구에서 비롯되었습니다. 사건의 시작을 알리는 표시로서, '큐'는 몇 차례의 유추적인 레이어를 통해 서로 다른 사물로 번역되었습니다. 이어서 슬로프, 드롭, 포크는 물리적 공간으로 소환되어 추상적인 질료를 구체적인 대화로 이어나갑니다.
a slope, a drop, a poke, the first exhibition of the Seoul-Paris-Amsterdam based collective FLAG will be opening. FLAG is an art project that experiments through non-reductive navigation by linking together `contextual particularities` to investigate the dynamics of productions of practices. The collective experimentation works throughout visual and physical everyday life experiences, where digital and analog materials get connected on an online platform to shape simultaneous narratives.
The exhibition a slope, a drop, a poke originated from common researches around the object “Cue”. As a sign of a beginning of an event, ‘cue’, has been translated into different objects through several analogical layers. Slopes, drops, pokes are recalled into the physical space, leading from an abstract matter to a specific dialogue.
가리 미롱(Garie Mirhon)
가리 미롱은 현재 에콜데보자르에서 큐레이션 프로그램의 일원으로서 파리를 기반으로 활동하고 있다. 그는 내러티브, 몸의 스케일, 그리고 관객으로서 우리가 공간을 인식하는 방식을 놀이로서 재해석한다. 그리고 이 작업들은 주로 벡터 드로잉과 재봉틀이라는 장치에 의해 완성된다.
Garie Mirhon (b.94, France) is currently based in Paris where she is part of an uncertain organic program for curation at Beaux-Arts de Paris. She uses vectorial drawings and a sewing machine as her main tools to put up installations that play with narratives, the scale of our bodies and our perception of space as viewers.

김재현(Jaehyun Kim)
김재현은 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 디자이너로, 한국예술종합학교 조형예술과를 졸업했다. 주로 사물의 모양이나 움직임을 그래픽으로 변환시키는 작업을 한다.
Jaehyun Kim is a designer based in Seoul and graduated from the Department of Fine Art at the Korea National University of Arts. He works mainly with converting the shape or movement of an object into graphics.
이누리(Nury Lee)
서울에서 미술을 공부하고 현재 네덜란드 로테르담에서 실내 건축을 공부 중이다. 물리적 공간이 사회문화적 배경과 기술을 토대로 하여 어떻게 하나의 퍼포먼스로 활성화될(activate) 수 있는지 될 수 있는지 관심을 가지고 있다.
Nury Lee studied art in Seoul and is currently studying interior architecture in Rotterdam, Netherlands. She is interested in how physical space can be activated as a single performance-based on socio-cultural background and technology.
잔 브래스토르(Jeanne Vrastor)
잔 브래스토르는 프랑스의 젊은 예술가로 암스테르담에 살며 샌드버그 인스티튜트에서 공부하고 있다. 조각, 비디오, 그리고 설치 작업을 통해 그녀의 예술적 실천은 때로 DIY의 단순한 제스처에 의해 모델링되며, 그것은 DIY를 향한 서로 다른 이해의 층위와 함께 관계와 몸이라는 개념을 탐구한다.
Jeanne Vrastor is a young French artist, she lives in Amsterdam and studies at the Sandberg Institute. Through sculpture, video, and installation, her practice is modeled by simple gesture often
close to DIY which investigates the idea of relationship and body regarding the different layers of
understanding towards it.
VDK
VDK는 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 이미지 프로듀서로, 한국예술종합학교와 에콜데보자르 파리에서 공부했다. 그는 사물이 이미지로 번역되는 과정에서 발생하는 개별 사물의 의미의 약화를 일련의 산업적 공정을 통해 탐구한다.
VDK is an image producer based in Seoul, who studied at the Korea National University of Arts and École Nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts. He explores the weakening of the meaning of individual objects in the process of translating them into images through a series of industrial processes.
